The result is a smooth, action-packed game that looks great. Metroid: Other M is a first-of-its-kind collaboration between the world-famous Team Ninja development team and the people who made the original Metroid. She gave up her haunted past for the lonely life of a bounty hunter. Samus finally tells her own story in this revealing, personal story about her failures, flaws, and ultimately what drives her. If someone else still has problems(since it seems to be a common problem), feel free to reply though, I could give you my settings or any other info.Samus Aran is known for being one of the first female main characters in video games and one of the most mysterious. So I guess this thread has just lost it's purpose, sorry. I've managed to set things right, the game runs at 50-60fps ingame and at exactly 30fps during the videos now. I'm pretty damn sure though the game had been running a lot faster on my old Wii than it does on Dolphin at 30fps. as if the videos were set to 30fps, the rest of the game to 40-45. But then again I'm pretty sure the rest of the game runs too slow. if I limit the game to 30fps, the videos work just fine. The videos are definately supposed to run at 30fps, and only that. The automatic framerate setting tried accellerating it too much. Found out what was wrong with the videos for me. If it's of any importance, I'm using the R6940 with DirectX11 on a 64 Bit Win7, GeForce GTX 580, Intel Core i7 K875, 8GB DDR3 Ram. Or discuss any ideas you have, maybe we can find a more playable way if more people think about it. I'm sure more of you guys have encountered these problems and since I'm new to Dolphin, I thought maybe someone has found a better solution. thus the audio runs too fast for the video, producing bugs and making the whole thing pretty much.

When more than 3 people are on screen, the framerate drops below 20, sometimes even around 15. one of the biggest problems though are the ingame videos. and in bigger areas it still goes down to 30 (I can live with that, though). I've tried a changing the config a bit and I've managed to get the fps up to about 40, but never further than that.

I've seen people stating that there was no way to get the framerate above 30 because the game was set to 30fps, but I think that's not entirely true. but i assure you, it's like playing the game in slow-motion. I've searched the forums and I see this topic has been discussed before, but the discussion didn't lead to any real solutions or even any conclusions, so I decided to bring it up once again.Īs far as my research on google and here on the forums has brought me, a framerate around 30fps seems to be normal for most users for Other M on Dolphin.
